Textual databases which are enriched with analytic information tend to be a seemingly excessive factor larger than the original text. Ambiguity in the text is one of the main contributors to this growth. This paper examines mechanisms that make it possible to restrain the amount of storage required by ambiguous structures. It will not only consider the resulting storage efficiency, but will also question their usability as an interface to a human disambiguator. This perspective is just as (if not even more) important, seeing that ambiguity resolution by humans is by far the safest way to arrive at correct readings.
